The nominations went to the New PEUGEOT 208, in the Urban Car category. And, to the New PEUGEOT 2008, in the Urban SUV category.

The new voting system introduced this year has been based on choosing the best three models in each category in the first round. To make their decision, the juries have considered aspects such as:

- performance, habitability, comfort, connectivity, safety, environmental impact, design and quality / price ratio.

Models launched between January and December 2020 have been taken into account in the vote.

Of the PEUGEOT 208, the WWCOTY jury highlights the changes made to comply with Brussels' environmental requirements, above all thanks to its new electric 100% motorization and its new CMP / e-CMP platform, lighter than the previous generation. On the other hand, the jovial spirit of the vehicle is also underlined, in colors, trim, fabrics ... and, above all, the i-Cockpit® 3D cockpit.
