PEUGEOT ends 2020 with 8 models with electrified versions

Tec and Environment Peugeot ends 2020 with 8 electric models. This represents the 60% in its range and a 9.7% share in the market.

Peugeot has finished the year registering 4,035 electrified '0 emissions' vehicles (100% electric and plug-in hybrids) and a 9.7% market share.

The great reception of the electric 100 % versions of the PEUGEOT e-208 and e-2008 stands out. Model manufactured in Vigo, where it reaches a 10.6% share in this segment.

In the market of plug-in hybrids, with the Hybrid versions of the PEUGEOT 3008 and 508, the brand arrives the 9.0%.

In 2020, the market for electric passenger cars and plug-in hybrids (with the 'Zero emissions' label) has grown by 136 % compared to the previous year. Closing with 41,553 registrations and representing one out of every 20 registered vehicles.

PEUGEOT has one of the most complete and varied ranges of electrified vehicles. With five passenger cars and three commercial vehicles, it managed to reach the first position in this emerging market with 4,035 registered passenger cars, a 9.7% of the electric and plug-in hybrid market, which means that in 2020 one out of every 16 passenger cars sold by the brand it has been an electrified vehicle.

Much of this success is due to its new generation of 100% electric passenger cars, represented by the PEUGEOT e-208 and e-2008. In a market that has reached 18,218 and that has grown by 81% in the year, the urban PEUGEOT e-208 has been the third most registered model in its category, with 1,235 units and a market share of 6.8%. 630 units of the PEUGEOT e-2008 have been registered, which represents 3.5% of the 100% electric passenger car market.
